Improv for Business
Improv Classes are classes that meet once a week for 4-,8- or 16-weeks that teach the fundamentals of improvisation and how it can be applied to business. Many of the fundamentals that make great improvisers also make great employees– skills such as listening, teamwork, trust, instinct, and agreement. By learning how people become better improvisers, we can learn how to become better employees.
Classes are 90-120 minutes long and take place once or twice a week for 4,8 or 16 weeks. There is also an option to have a group performance at the end of the class to showcase the skills learned and have way too much fun.
What You’ll Learn
- How to improve your listening skills.
- The power of “Yes and.”
- Listening to understand, not to respond.
- Innovation through “If this is true, then what else is true…”
- Brainstorming techniques.
- The power of trusting others.
- The power of trusting your instincts.
